About Me
Helping leaders navigate change, complexity and recalibration
I’ve spent more than 20 years working across the corporate and humanitarian worlds, leading partnerships, strategy, transformation and people initiatives at organisations including Procter & Gamble, UNICEF and the ICRC.
I’ve led teams, built cross-sector partnerships, navigated restructurings and organisational change, and spent years operating in complex international environments where the pressure to deliver never really goes away.
My own career has taken me across countries, sectors and several significant transitions—from the private sector into the humanitarian world, and later into senior leadership roles within the Red Cross.
Like many high performers, I spent years pushing through. Eventually, burnout, health challenges and chronic stress forced me to do something I had rarely allowed myself to do:
pause.
That pause changed more than my career. It changed how I think about success, leadership and impact. It also changed how I show up, where I set my boundaries, and what I consider worth striving for.
I realised that changing jobs doesn’t automatically change the patterns underneath. That what makes us successful can eventually become the thing that keeps us stuck. And that many of us spend years living by rules we never consciously chose.
I also realised that success on paper—a fancy title, a bigger team, a few more stripes on the shoulder—doesn’t always translate into greater impact, better decisions or a stronger sense of control over how we spend our time and energy.
And that performing at a high level, year after year, can come at a cost.
So I paused and asked myself a different question:
What am I trying to achieve in this chapter of my life?
I was deeply grateful for everything I had achieved. Joining the ICRC had been a dream come true. But fifteen years later, it was no longer what I wanted for the future.
We rarely stop to ask whether the North Star that guided us for years still points in the direction we want to go.
So I reset my compass.
I wanted more freedom, flow and fun in this chapter. More lightness in both work and family life. I wanted to continue making an impact—but without the constant pressure, striving and feeling that I was always running on a hamster wheel.
After recalibrating my own life, I now work with leaders, teams and organisations to create more sustainable ways of working, leading and delivering results.
I call it a mindful rebellion.
Not against ambition, impact or high performance.
But against the idea that success has to come at the expense of our health, relationships, values or sense of self.
Through coaching, consulting, facilitation and speaking, I help leaders and organisations pause, reflect and recalibrate—so they can create meaningful impact in ways that are sustainable for themselves, their teams and their organisations.
My bigger mission is simple:
To prove that sustainable high performance and a next chapter on your own terms are not in conflict.
That’s the Mindful Rebellion.
And it starts with one honest look at where you are now.
